Friendly & Reliable Team At Your Service
Heat Pumps are known for their low maintenance requirements and long life spans, but like everything, they need a bit of TLC! It is still important to have them serviced regularly to make sure they are performing safely and efficiently.
We’d recommend servicing your heat pump once a year, ideally before the winter cold hits because if there are any issues you’ll be able to catch them at the right time. An annual service is a quite often recommended by the manufacturer to validate the product warranty – so it is always good to check that.
What Does A Heat Pump Service Include?
During the service, the engineer will discuss the performance of your heat pump with you, to ensure the system is working correctly and delivering the desired comfort levels to your home.
To give you an idea, this is what an annual service typically looks like:
- Temperature checks
- System checks (visual and diagnostic)
- Clean parts where required, for example grills, coil, filter etc.
- Check for wear
- Check electrical connections
- Check water flow rates
- Professional advice on any additional equipment or ways to improve the efficiency of the system
