Cut Costs and Go Cleaner With An Ultra Reliable Heat Pump

  • Extremely Energy Efficient
  • Low Running Costs
  • Less Maintenance
  • Low Environmental Impact

Air Source Heat Pumps are incredibly reliable and energy efficient when installed correctly.

For every 1KW of energy put in, they typically deliver between 2.5KW and 4KW of output – that’s 250% to 400% efficient compared to a typical gas boiler which is only 90% efficient.

What are Heat Pumps?

Heat pumps take heat energy from the air or the ground and use that energy to heat a building or water.

They can supply 100% of your heating and hot water needs.

They are far more energy-efficient than traditional boiler systems, which means a big reduction in CO2 emissions.

Your heat pump takes heat from the air outside (even when it’s cold) and uses it to heat your space or water.

If you’re worried about the UK’s cold climate, don’t be! Heat Pumps can operate efficiently in temperatures as low as -20c.

Air Source Heat Pumps FAQ

Your Air Source Heat Pumps Questions Answered!

  • How much do you charge for an Air Source Heat Pump Installation?

Firstly, we need to know that installing an air source heat pump does generally cost more than a traditional heating system but is usually offset by very low maintenance costs and their long life spans.  More importantly though, heat pumps are significantly better on the environment than traditional heating systems that rely on the burning of fossil fuels and this is why they are more attractive to homeowners that want to minimise the environmental impact of their home.

Prior to having an air-to-water heat pump installed, a heat loss survey must be performed to ensure the heat pump performs at optimum efficiency.

Heat losses occur due to heat being transferred from inside a property through walls & windows etc. The average property requirement is around 6 to 8 kW, but that really depends on the size of the property and many other factors. An accurate heat loss calculation can only come from an in-depth survey, where every window, wall and door is measured as well looking at the insulation and size of every radiator.

The heat loss survey will take 1 to 2 hours on site to obtain all the required details for the calculations and to discuss any options etc with the homeowner.

Can I get a guide on the price?

Yes – providing us with a few details about your property will enable us to give you a budgetary quote, but just keep in mind that until the heat loss survey is performed, this will only be a guide.

Contact us here, and we’ll happily provide you with a better idea of the costs with a guide quotation & then we can arrange a home/site visit.

  • How long does it take to install?

Generally, we would expect the installation to be completed within 5 days.  However, completion times can fluctuate depending on the size of the existing system, complexity, weather conditions, and accessibility.

If you’d like to get a better idea of installation time then contact us here.
